THE ROLE

We have a brand new role that we are recruiting to in our trust central team. We’re looking for a highly motivated, experienced operations and procurement professional to join our Central Team, working closely with the Chief Finance and Operations Officer to ensure our schools run smoothly, safely and efficiently. This is a varied, high-impact role at the heart of the Trust, leading procurement and supplier management, championing operational excellence and sustainability, and supporting the operational backbone that lets our 14 schools focus on what matters most, our children.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Leading procurement strategy, supplier management and contract compliance across the Trust
  • Identifying income generation opportunities, including traded services and bid writing
  • Acting as the Trust’s Sustainability Lead, driving practical, Trust-wide environmental improvements
  • Supporting the marketing and promotion of the Trust, raising its profile with families, staff and partners
  • Overseeing IT & digital systems contracts, Health & Safety compliance and business continuity planning
  • Driving Operational excellence across our Trust
  • Providing high-quality reports and advice to the CFOO, Trust Board and committees

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience leading or working in a management capacity within a procurement, contracts or operations function
  • A strong track record in supplier and contract management, ideally including service delivery contracts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills, with sound commercial judgement
  • CIPS qualification (or equivalent experience) desirable; knowledge of the education sector an advantage
