TF COP: Trade Finance Conference of Parties
The TF COP (Trade Finance Conference of Parties) is the widest and most representative coalition ever created by the trade and export finance + transactional banking industries. It was created with the purpose of eliminating the trade finance gap by the year 2040. Its endeavours are fully aligned with the Seville Declaration (Finance for Development), which labelled financing gaps as a sustainability/ESG issue.
TF COP Task Force
Created on the 3rd July 2025, the TF COP Task Force aggregates 5 trade bodies, 15 public sector members (mostly multilateral development institutions) and 17 private sector members, which have the executive mandate to deliver the TF COP goals. A significant component of the work undertaken happens through the “Solutions Incubator”, where members create sandboxes to implement projects aimed at solving the trade finance gap.
The Role
You'll support the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects related to the running of the TF COP Task Force - making sure operations in general, as well as specific projects run smoothly, and that the TF COP Task Force members have a platform to operate that meets their expectations and enables them to achieve their goals. The role reports to the TF COP Task Force Chair.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of TF COP events, such as the Annual TF COP and TF COP Task Force Meetings
- Become the main contact point and operational support for projects originated from, and developed by TF COP
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate timelines, deliverables, and budgets
- Monitor project progress, flag risks, and help problem solving
- Liaise with TF COP Task Force Members, external and internal stakeholders to support project communication and alignment
- Create and maintain clear project documentation as required
- Attend meetings related to the different operational and project streams
- Coordinate interaction of the TF COP Task Force in all its dimensions with media, legal and academic partners
- Produce internal and external documentation as directed, including necessary preparatory research
- Prepare and present regular operations and project updates to the TF COP Task Force Chair and to the TF COP Task Force Members.
- Prepare and deliver presentations

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
