Operations and Studio Manager
Hours: 35 hrs per week
Location: Bristol based
Reporting to: Events Director
This is a brand-new role and an exciting opportunity to join Studio Giggle at a key moment of our growth. You’ll help deliver the structure, systems and support that allow our creative teams to do their best work – while helping the business to run smoothly, confidently and commercially.
Reporting to the Event Director, you’ll work closely with colleagues across the studio, from project managers and producers to technical artists and the senior leadership team. You’ll be the go-to person for operations, facilities, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement.
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, improving how things work, supporting people and making practical change happen in a busy creative environment.
About us
Established in 2006, Studio Giggle creates award-winning content for extraordinary events, immersive experiences and ambitious creative projects. Based at The Paintworks in Bristol, our team works with global brands and organisations including Manchester United, Well Pharmacy, OceanX, Sky TV and many more.
Our work brings together animation, film, motion graphics, mixed media, real-time content, XR environments and live event delivery. One week we might be creating a complex artistic installation; the next, a brand film, streaming experience, explainer animation or immersive environment.
You’ll be joining a dedicated, respectful and brilliant team who support each other and care deeply about the quality of their work. We like solving problems, pushing ideas further and finding original ways to respond to creative challenges.

- Understands the balance of introducing change while supporting busy delivery teams focused on client work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
