Operations Apprentice

Location: Sturminster, Dorset

Hours: 6:00am start (full-time)

About the Role

Are you looking to start a hands-on career in the food production industry? This Operations Apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience while working towards industry-recognised qualifications in a supportive and professional environment.

You'll be part of an experienced operations team, learning essential production processes, quality standards, and safe working practices that will provide a strong foundation for a long-term career within the food manufacturing sector.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Learn the fundamentals of food production and operational processes.
  • Work alongside experienced colleagues to develop practical skills.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety.
  • Follow company procedures and industry regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a busy operations team.
  • Develop an understanding of production efficiency, quality assurance, and traceability.
  • Gain knowledge of sustainability, workplace wellbeing, and industry best practices.
  • Participate fully in your apprenticeship programme and complete all required training.

Qualifications & Skills

  • No formal qualifications are required.
  • Support is available to complete Level 1 Functional Skills where required (mandatory for apprentices under 19).
  • A genuine interest in the food industry.
  • Commitment to completing the apprenticeship programme.
  • Willingness to learn, solve problems, and continually develop.
