Role Description

The Operations Assistant is a full-time hybrid role based in Manchester. This position supports daily facilities operations by coordinating service requests, updating schedules, completing site visits/walkarounds, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems. The role involves liaising with internal teams and external partners, handling customer queries, and ensuring timely follow-up on ongoing tasks. The Operations Assistant will prepare reports, track key operational metrics, and assist with documentation to support process improvements. This role also includes general administrative duties such as organizing files, managing correspondence, and supporting the Operations Management team with ad hoc projects.

  • Strong operations and operations management skills to support day-to-day facilities activities and workflows.
  • Analytical skills to review data, create reports, and identify trends or issues in service delivery.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with office software tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email, and scheduling systems).
  • Experience in cleaning, security and/or facilities services, operations support, or a similar administrative role is beneficial.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a hybrid work model.
  • MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENSE
