The Less Group is a fast-growing, multi-disciplined cleaning and restoration specialist. Across our four divisions - Floorless, Traceless, Spotless and Wasteless, we cover everything from routine commercial cleaning to complex and sensitive domestic works.
Our services span flooring restoration and non-slip treatments, biohazard and trauma cleaning - hoarder and clearance, after-death cleaning, and fire and smoke damage restoration, alongside large scale commercial cleans from student accommodation turn-over to sparkle cleans. Whatever the scale or nature of the job, we bring the same standard: thorough, compliant, and completed with care and discretion. We’re seeking an Operations Assistant
We’re seeking an Operations Assistant to help us thrive further and keep our administrative organisation to a high standard and help us to continue to grow effectively and efficiently. As Operations Assistant, you'll play a key role across all our departments providing support and keep the wheels turning in a smooth and compliant manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Create clear, accurate job briefs so technicians and subcontractors have everything they need to complete their works.
- Check that job reports are completed and entered correctly by technicians and subcontractors, following up on any gaps.
- Organise additional labour and cleaners at short notice to meet job demands.
- Arrange waste collections in line with current waste regulations, keeping accurate records.
- Complete and file all relevant job and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance requirements are met across every job, flagging any issues to the Operations Manager.
- Liaise with clients where necessary, providing updates and resolving queries professionally.
- Assist with preparing and issuing accurate quotes for clients.
- Schedule jobs efficiently, coordinating diaries across technicians, subcontractors and clients.
- Manage diaries for the office team, booking in appointments and resolving scheduling conflicts where necessary.
- Update and maintain our social media pages when needed, keeping content current and on-brand.

Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot and correct errors in reports and documentation.
- Exemplary written and spoken English, comfortable drafting client-facing communications.
- Great communication skills, confident liaising with clients, technicians and subcontractors alike.
- Able to stay organised and calm while working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Experience in a similar administrative or operations role isn't essential, but is preferred.
- Efficiency in Excel.
- Highly organised, able to multi-task and prioritise.
- Able to work from our Ellesmere Port based office.

- Salary from £27,000 upwards, dependent on experience.
