Nudge Education

Nudge Education is a national intervention service for children that are chronically disengaged from education.

We are hopeful that the tailored and bespoke interventions that we design and deliver will help to re-engage thousands of children across the country in the coming years.

We’re looking for a bright, organised and curious Operations Assistant to join our team.

You’ll start by taking ownership of essential day-to-day operational activities — keeping processes moving, coordinating suppliers and resources, supporting our office and making sure the operational basics happen when they should.

But we’re not looking for someone who just wants to complete a checklist.

As you develop, you’ll work closely with our Operations & Systems Manager, gaining exposure to operational data, projects, process improvement and business planning. We want someone who is curious about why things work the way they do and, over time, can help us find better ways of doing them.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of day-to-day administrative and operational processes.
  • Supporting the smooth running of our Head Office, including supplies, facilities and general office coordination.
  • Coordinating equipment, company assets, deliveries, collections and other resources.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and compliance administration.
  • Coordinating bookings, suppliers and external providers.
  • Maintaining accurate records, trackers and process documentation.
  • Monitoring deadlines, renewals and outstanding actions and following them through to completion.
  • Supporting operational reporting and performance tracking.
  • Helping identify recurring problems, bottlenecks and opportunities to improve how we work.
  • Supporting the implementation of new processes, systems and operational projects.
  • Taking on greater ownership of improvement projects as your experience develops.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The role will evolve with you. The principle is simple:

Learn the process. Own the process. Improve the process.

About You

You don’t need years of Operations experience. We’re more interested in your potential, attitude and ability to learn.

You’ll probably be someone who:

  • Is highly organised and gets satisfaction from getting things done properly.
  • Takes ownership and follows things through without needing constant reminders.
  • Is naturally curious and asks questions when something doesn’t make sense.
  • Is confident using spreadsheets, systems and technology.
  • Is comfortable working with numbers and basic data.
  • Learns new processes quickly.
  • Has strong attention to detail.
  • Can manage different priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Communicates confidently with colleagues, suppliers and external organisations.
  • Enjoys solving problems rather than simply highlighting them.
  • Wants to learn, develop and take on more responsibility over time.

Previous experience in administration, Operations, project coordination or a similar environment would be useful, but is not essential.

What You’ll Learn

This isn’t intended to be a role where you do the same administrative tasks indefinitely.

You’ll gain exposure to different areas of the organisation and develop experience in:

  • Business operations
  • Process improvement
  • Operational data and KPIs
  • Project coordination
  • Systems and technology
  • Supplier and asset management
  • Cross-functional working

As your knowledge and capability grow, we’ll look to give you increasingly complex operational problems and projects to own.

Why This Role?

This is a hands-on entry point into Operations with genuine room to develop.

You’ll work closely with the Operations & Systems Manager and get visibility across different areas of the business, giving you the opportunity to understand how decisions are made and how an organisation scales.

If you’re early in your career, ambitious, curious and looking for somewhere you can learn quickly and take on increasing responsibility, we’d love to hear from you.
