The role
We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day running of one of our sales pods within Think Business Loans.

Key responsibilities
Application Management & Quality Assurance
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on applications, ensuring each one is packaged accurately and to a high standard before submission.
- Monitor live applications and help them progress efficiently through the underwriting process.
- Work with sales agents and, where necessary, customers to obtain documentation or additional information requested by lenders.
- Keep application records and ThinkApp statuses accurate and up to date, clearly reflecting the current position of each case.
Sales Support
- Work closely with sales agents, supporting them with product placement and up-to-date lender knowledge.
- Provide timely updates on applications that are progressing through underwriting.
- Ensure sales agents remain informed and have the operational support they need throughout the application journey.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
