Are you highly organised, calm under pressure and enjoy solving problems in a fast-paced environment?
We're looking for an Operations Assistant / Customer Service Advisor to join our growing team at Speedy Doncaster.
This is a key role within the business where you'll be responsible for managing customer enquiries, planning transport solutions, allocating drivers and ensuring deliveries are completed successfully from booking through to proof of delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Handling customer enquiries by phone and email
- Providing quotations and booking transport requirements
- Planning and allocating vehicles and drivers
- Monitoring live deliveries and proactively managing issues
- Keeping customers updated throughout the delivery process
- Managing PODs and job completion processes
- Working closely with drivers, customers and the operations team

What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure
- Confidence using computer systems and technology
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- Previous customer service, logistics or transport experience is advantageous but not essential
