Cullen Kilshaw is a leading law firm with offices throughout the South of Scotland and East Lothian and East Lothian, providing a wide range of legal services to individuals, families and businesses.
We are currently seeking an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Operations Assistant to join our Operations team in Galashiels.
The Role
Supporting our Head of Operations, you’ll play a key role in helping our offices and internal business processes run smoothly. From coordinating facilities requests to assisting with marketing activities, events and business improvement projects, this is a varied and rewarding role offering exposure to many different aspects of a growing legal practice.

This position would suit someone who enjoys being organised, solving problems, building relationships and helping others. No two days are the same, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to projects that support the continued success and development of the firm.
With our offices located across the South of Scotland and East Lothian and East Lothian, some travel between locations may be involved. A full UK driving licence is therefore essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Providing operational and administrative support
- Coordinating facilities and maintenance enquiries across our offices
- Acting as the first point of contact for IT queries, liaising with our external IT support provider to coordinate and resolve requests
- Supporting marketing activities and events
- Liaising with suppliers and contractors
- Supporting business improvement projects

- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Good Microsoft 365 skills
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Previous administration or coordination experience (desirable)
