Operations Assistant
We are looking for a part-time Operations Assistant to work at our training location in Sugar House Island. The role will work alongside the Operations Manager to ensure that rooms are fully resourced and prepared for art-based training sessions including, where necessary, audio-visual resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setting up rooms for training sessions: occasionally moving furniture, tables and chairs and art materials such as sandtrays or bags of clay.
- Keeping the venue clean during and after training sessions, including vacuuming, mopping and cleaning.
- Checking, organising and cleaning art materials and art tools.
- Stock checking and organising.
- Technical support: setting up laptops, PowerPoint, projectors, screens etc when required by staff/students/guests.

Person Specification
- Organisation and being able to prioritise.
- Being able to work individually and in a team.
- Willingness to take in new tasks and learn.
- Flexibility.
- Hospitality experience is desired, but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of technology.
Must have right to remain and work in UK.
Qualifications/ Experience
Full training will be provided.
Salary and Hours
This is a weekend only role, with most Saturdays worked and occasional Sundays, from 8.30am to 5.30pm. Please note there are no working dates during August.
