Operations Assistant
Location: City London
Working Pattern: Hybrid – Monday, Tuesday & Thursday in the office
Salary: £30,000–£34,000 for a junior profile
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our growing Operations team. This is a broad and varied role, giving you exposure to different areas of the business including operations, compliance, contractor onboarding, CRM, reporting, sales support, marketing and process improvement.
It's a great opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and commercially minded, and who wants to build a long-term career within a growing business. You don't need to have experience across everything listed below. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong attention to detail and the willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
Operations & Business Support
- Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support across the business.
- Help ensure internal systems and processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Support the wider Operations team with a variety of business requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
- Take ownership of tasks and projects as your experience develops.

CRM, Reporting & Data
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Bullhorn CRM.
- Produce reports and support with business reporting and analysis.
- Ensure data quality and consistency across systems.
- Support colleagues with CRM queries and best practice.
Contractor Onboarding & Compliance
- Coordinate contractor onboarding and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Support compliance and contract administration.
- Process contractor timesheets and assist with monthly operational processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records.
Sales & Team Support
- Act as a key point of contact for operational queries from the sales team.
- Support the onboarding and training of new starters.
- Build strong relationships across Sales, Finance, Operations and Credit Control.
- Help ensure consultants have the operational support they need to deliver effectively.
Projects, Marketing & Technology
- Support LinkedIn and wider company marketing activity.
- Assist with presentations and internal business materials.
- Contribute to projects focused on improving productivity and efficiency.
- Help champion the use of AI and new technologies across the business.

We're looking for someone who is:
- Organised, reliable and has excellent attention to detail.
- Naturally proactive and comfortable taking ownership.
- Confident communicating with people at all levels.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Tech-savvy and keen to learn new systems.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interested in technology, AI and improving the way businesses operate.
- A positive and collaborative team player.
- Ambitious and looking to develop a long-term career.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Previous experience in operations, administration, business support or recruitment would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
