Referment is working with a growing technology company that provides software to organisations across the charity, social-impact and public sectors.
They're looking for an Operations Associate to take ownership of a broad range of internal operations as the business continues to scale.
This is a varied, hands-on role spanning recruitment, finance administration, contracts, security compliance and process automation. You'll be given genuine ownership from the outset, with the opportunity to take on increasingly important areas of the business as you develop.
The Role
You'll Be Responsible For
- Managing recruitment operations, including candidate pipelines, interview scheduling, CV screening and assessment coordination.
- Owning administrative processes around contracts, signatures and documentation.
- Raising and tracking invoices and ensuring payments are followed up.
- Supporting ongoing information-security and compliance processes.
- Managing recurring reviews, evidence and documentation associated with security certifications.
- Coordinating responses to customer security questionnaires.
- Building reusable processes and documentation to make recurring work more efficient.
- Identifying repetitive manual tasks and replacing them with templates, automation and AI workflows.
- Working closely with the Chief of Staff and wider team across a range of operational projects.
- Taking ownership of new areas of the business as the company grows.

What We're Looking For
You'll ideally have experience in a broad operational or administrative position such as Operations, Executive Assistance, Team Assistance, Office Management or Practice Management.
More Importantly, You'll Be Someone Who
- Is exceptionally organised and comfortable managing several priorities simultaneously.
- Takes ownership of tasks without needing detailed instructions.
- Is comfortable picking up unfamiliar areas and learning quickly.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with candidates, customers and external partners.
- Can be trusted with sensitive and confidential information.
- Enjoys creating structure around processes that haven't previously been documented.
- Looks for ways to improve or automate repetitive work.
- Uses AI and automation tools practically to work more efficiently.

Previous experience with recruitment operations, contracts, invoicing, procurement or finance administration would be useful.
Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2, Cyber Essentials or information-security processes would be beneficial but isn't essential.
The role would suit someone who has become the reliable operational centre of a small business or team and now wants significantly more ownership and progression within a growing technology company.
