Referment is working with a fast-growing technology company to hire an Operations Associate to support the business as it continues to scale.
This is a broad, hands-on role sitting at the centre of the organisation and supporting a range of activities across finance, commercial operations, internal processes and company administration.
You'll take ownership of a number of important recurring processes while also helping the business improve how things get done. The company makes extensive use of technology, AI and automation, so there will be plenty of opportunity to find smarter ways of managing repetitive operational tasks.
This would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and is comfortable working independently within a fast-moving environment.
The Role
You'll Be Responsible For
- Supporting recurring finance processes including invoices, payments and payroll administration.
- Helping manage commercial documentation and administration relating to new customers.
- Coordinating internal processes across different teams within the business.
- Managing documentation and ensuring important operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Supporting company events, meetings and team activities.
- Coordinating travel and logistics where required.
- Working with external suppliers and partners.
- Identifying repetitive processes that can be improved or automated.
- Using AI and other technology tools to make operational workflows more efficient.
- Supporting wider business projects as the company grows.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with around 2 to 3 years' experience in an operations-focused role, ideally within a startup, scale-up or growing technology company.
You'll Ideally Have
- Experience within business operations, finance operations, sales operations or a similarly broad role.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience managing important recurring processes and deadlines.
- Confidence working with financial, commercial or other sensitive information.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities without needing significant supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using modern technology and AI tools to improve how you work.
- The ability to spot inefficient processes and find practical ways of improving them.
- Experience working within a remote or distributed team would be useful
