Operations Associate / Director – Derivatives Clearing
Location: Glasgow – Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite
Contract: 12 months
We are looking for an Operations Associate / Director to join a Derivatives Clearing Client Service team within a leading global financial services organisation.
This role combines derivatives operations with institutional client relationship management, supporting clients across their day-to-day clearing activities. You will act as a key point of contact for clients while working closely with Operations, Risk, Technology and other internal teams.

The position would suit someone with experience in Derivatives Operations, Clearing Operations, Middle Office, Trade Support or Financial Services Client Services.

Skills & Experience
- Experience within derivatives, financial services operations, middle office or trade support.
- Knowledge of Listed Derivatives / Futures & Options and/or OTC Clearing is highly desirable.
- Bilateral derivatives experience may also be considered.
- Understanding of derivatives trade lifecycle and operational processes would be beneficial.
- Client-facing or relationship-management experience is preferred but not essential.
- Experience dealing with institutional clients, asset managers or hedge funds would be advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of operational risk, controls and confidentiality.
- Interest in technology, transformation and operational automation.
