Work Flexibility: Onsite Operations Associate

What you will do:

  • Provides manufacturing, product, and process coordination support to the manufacturing line.
  • Coordinates and evaluates production training and trains trainers.
  • Responsible for ensuring the performance of an assigned team/work process.
  • Involves having ownership and accountability for personal and team-based performance metrics.
  • Works closely with Operations Supervisors to reduce downtime and optimize performance to the production plan.
  • Ensures team performance meets KPIs on Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
  • Provides active coaching and feedback to operators.
  • Actively manages production flow to optimize performance.
  • Ensures production schedule is always followed.
  • Leads the Tier 1 Process.
  • Actively anticipates potential downtime and reduces production interruptions.
  • Coordinates and prioritizes production to meet customer requirements, maintain inventory levels, and relevant Key Production Indicators (KPIs) as per the Production Plan.
  • Communicates and records output levels.
  • Collaborates with NPI teams to ensure that builds are prioritized and progressed through the line as per required timelines.
  • Identifies and manages training priorities vs business needs monthly.
  • Leads the formation of the training schedule and is responsible for executing the plan to ensure versatility, station rotation, and line staffing plans are adequate to meet business needs.
  • Trains and supports the lines in delivery of training.
  • Responsible for approval, implementation, and scheduling of training for document changes.
  • Leads Production Training for new hires and ensures cross-training plans for employees are implemented.
  • Evaluates and signs off training.
  • Collaborates with the Training Applications Analyst in the upkeep of the SLMS training and ensuring that training is effectively recorded in line with QMS.
  • Reviews overtime needs with Operations Supervisor and coordinates gathering the list of team members to meet this need.
  • Ensures quality standards and expectations are communicated and deployed.
  • Supports maintaining production systems (rework, scrap, line clearance, QA audits).
  • Promotes current Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Processes.
  • Leads EHS/6S for your team – ensure that a proactive approach to health and safety.
  • Champions and achieves the 6S process, standards, and objectives using teamwork.
  • Participates in continuous improvement activities, e.g., Lean/Cost Reduction initiatives.
  • Participates in the resolution of NC & CAPAs as required and ensures effective compliance with Quality Management System (QMS).
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

Education:

Desirable: GCSE Grade A-C in Maths, English, and Science

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years’ manufacturing experience

System/Computer Requirements:

  • Competency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Competency with SAP

Work Flexibility:
