Operations & Business Manager
Dixon Grange, Lytham, Lancashire | Full Time | Monday to Friday | up to £42,000 per annum
About Dixon Grange
Dixon Grange is a diverse and growing business involved in property investment, acquisition, development, and management. Operating across multiple locations and business interests, including commercial property, leisure, and associated ventures, we pride ourselves on maintaining high standards, strong relationships, and operational excellence.
We are now seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations & Business Manager to join our team and play a central role in supporting the day-to-day running of the business and its associated entities.
The Role
This is a varied and influential position that sits at the heart of the organisation. Reporting directly to the Chairman, you will coordinate operational activities across multiple businesses, ensuring processes are managed efficiently, suppliers are effectively controlled, and key projects and priorities are delivered.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Executive PA to the Chairman and wider management team, while also supporting aspects of the Chairman's corporate and personal investment interests.
This role requires exceptional organisation, commercial awareness, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Coordinate day-to-day operations across Dixon Grange and associated businesses.
- Ensure business processes are completed accurately and consistently.
- Monitor actions, approvals, supplier commitments, and operational priorities.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails.

Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Oversee purchasing processes and supplier administration.
- Ensure purchases are made in line with agreed pricing and contractual arrangements.
- Track purchase orders from approval through to completion.
- Maintain purchasing records and supplier documentation.
- Support rebate tracking and contract compliance activities.
Property Management
- Support the administration of a varied corporate and private property portfolio.
- Liaise with agents, solicitors, contractors, and tenants.
- Coordinate maintenance projects, inspections, and property-related works.
- Manage utilities and service providers across multiple properties.
- Assist with rental administration and property-related documentation.
Finance & Business Support
- Assist with the collection and organisation of invoices and supporting documentation.
- Support monthly reporting processes and finance administration.
- Work closely with the Management Accountant on VAT and reporting requirements.
- Ensure robust business controls and supporting records are maintained.
Executive & Administrative Support
- Provide high-level administrative support using Microsoft Office applications.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
- Monitor projects and business activities on behalf of the Chairman.
- Coordinate and maintain various business records and operational documentation.
About You

You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Business Manager, Executive Support, or similar role.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience managing suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Confidence handling confidential and commercially sensitive information.
- The ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.

- Full-time position based across our Lytham locations, including Dock Road, Boundary Road, and Mill Farm.
- Flexibility is required to meet business needs.
- Occasional travel between sites and attendance at meetings may be required.
