Kumho Tyre UK Ltd is a subsidiary of Kumho Tire Co., Inc., managing operations in the UK and Irish markets. Kumho Tire, founded in 1960, is among the world’s largest tyre manufacturers, producing over 50 million tyres annually.

The company operates manufacturing plants in Korea, China, Vietnam, and the USA, supported by R&D centres across three continents. Kumho supplies original equipment tyres to leading global car manufacturers including Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, Kia, and Renault. Kumho Tire is also the Official Tyre Partner of Leicester Tigers Rugby Club, reflecting its strong brand presence and market visibility.

Role Description

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented and analytically minded Operations Business Performance Analyst to support business decision-making through performance reporting, KPI monitoring and business analytics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, identifying trends and providing actionable insights that support operational and commercial performance.

Working closely with teams across Operations, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and senior management, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely reports, maintaining business dashboards and analysing key performance metrics to help drive continuous improvement. You will act as a key source of business intelligence, ensuring that stakeholders have access to reliable information to support strategic and operational decisions.

In this role, you will analyse sales performance, margins, profitability, costs and variances while monitoring business trends and identifying areas for improvement. You will be responsible for producing and maintaining KPI dashboards, weekly and monthly management reports, executive-level dashboards and supporting business review meetings with relevant data and insights. You will also help maintain the accuracy and quality of reporting data, including ERP master data within SAP, ensuring that business information remains consistent, reliable and fit for purpose.

The successful candidate will work with large volumes of data to identify performance drivers, support forecasting activities and deliver meaningful analysis that contributes to business growth and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with a range of stakeholders across the organisation, helping to improve reporting processes, data quality and dashboard effectiveness while supporting day-to-day operational requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.
  • Experience in business process improvement, including mapping processes, identifying inefficiencies, and supporting implementation of changes.
  • Knowledge of finance concepts and comfort working with financial, sales, and operational metrics in a commercial environment.
  • Ability to define, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business decisions and performance monitoring.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to present data clearly to stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
  • Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools; experience with BI/reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in operations, automotive, manufacturing, or distribution environments is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently in an on-site team setting.
