Job details

This role is central to keeping the office running smoothly and supporting the wider business. As Operations Coordinator, you will provide friendly, proactive support across day-to-day office operations, including facilities, catering, events, meeting rooms, stock and general administration.

Reporting to the Office Manager, you will work across the business and have the opportunity to develop your skills in areas such as finance, invoicing and Xero, as well as supporting company accreditations and small business projects.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys getting involved, solving problems and supporting others.

What you will do

  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
  • Liaise with building management and suppliers.
  • Organise office food, drink and catering requirements.
  • Manage office supplies, stationery and stock levels.
  • Coordinate internal events and client visits.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and set-up.
  • Place orders and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Support basic finance and invoicing tasks.
  • Develop skills in Xero and office-related financial administration.
  • Support with the gathering of information for company accreditations, certifications and renewal dates. Keep the Company Pack up to date.
  • Support the Office Manager with small projects.
  • Take ownership of tasks and provide wider business support as needed.

Who you are

You are an organised and proactive professional with a friendly, can-do approach. You will ideally have:

  • Previous office, administration or coordination experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in professional services or consultancy is advantageous.
  • Exposure to Xero or invoicing software is advantageous.
  • Experience organising events or managing suppliers is advantageous.
  • A friendly, approachable and professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
