Location: Chiswick/ Gunnersbury
Salary: £35,000- £40,000
Hours: 09.00- 17.00 (1 day Hybrid working after probation)

Operations Co-ordinator

Currently recruiting for an Operations Co-ordinator to join a growing children’s activities business organisation in a broad operational role, working closely with the Directors and making a tangible impact on the continued growth of the business. This is a broad and varied role where you’ll take ownership of day-to-day operations, administration and people processes that keep the business running smoothly.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking responsibility, solving problems and improving the way a growing organisation operates. Working in a small and cohesive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, systems, processes and administration.
  • Manage HR administration including contracts, employee records, onboarding, compliance and payroll information.
  • Support recruitment from advertising and candidate screening through to interviews, references and onboarding.
  • Build strong relationships with schools, parents and staff, responding to enquiries and resolving issues professionally.
  • Manage bookings, invoicing, payment reconciliation and general financial administration.
  • Coordinate stock, equipment, resources and logistics across services, camps and events.
  • Support the Directors with partnerships, business development, marketing and growth initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and operational efficiency.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised, proactive and detail-focused.
  • Confident managing multiple priorities and taking ownership.
  • A strong communicator who is professional, approachable and service-focused.
  • Calm, practical and solutions-focused.
  • Comfortable working independently in a hands-on, growing environment.
  • Naturally process-minded, with a desire to find better ways of working

Ideally, you’ll have 3+ years’ experience in office management, operations, business administration or a similar role.

Salary will be dependent on experience.
