Role Purpose
The Operations & Compliance Administrator will provide administrative, systems and compliance support to business operations, helping to ensure the efficient delivery of security services across client sites.
The role will involve maintaining operational systems, supporting scheduling and workforce requirements, assisting with compliance activities, producing reports, maintaining accurate records and supporting Operations Management with the day-to-day administration of security contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Operations Department and assist with day-to-day security operations.
- Maintain accurate employee, site, contract and operational information across company systems.
- Support the management of security officer rotas, shift coverage, absences and operational changes.
- Monitor staffing requirements and escalate potential coverage issues to Operations Management.
- Administer operational systems, including user accounts, permissions and system records.
- Support users with system queries and liaise with IT/software providers where required.
- Produce operational reports, KPIs and information for management and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate operational and compliance records.
- Support new contract mobilisations and changes to existing client services.
- Assist with the recording and escalation of incidents and operational issues.
- Ensure appropriately trained, vetted and licensed personnel are allocated to assignments where required.
- Assist with monitoring SIA licences, training, vetting and other compliance requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by ensuring records and documentation are accurate and readily available.
- Assist with maintaining company policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
- Support the monitoring of compliance actions and ensure outstanding information is followed up where required.
- Assist with supplier and labour provider compliance checks and record keeping.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and identify and correct system discrepancies.
- Handle employee, client and operational information securely and confidentially in accordance with UK GDPR and company procedures.
- Liaise professionally with security officers, clients, managers and internal departments.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational, systems and administrative processes.

- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
Desirable
- Previous experience within the security industry, compliance or an operational environment.
- Experience with workforce management, scheduling or rostering systems.
- Knowledge of SIA requirements and the UK private security industry.
- Experience producing operational reports and KPIs.
- Basic understanding of UK GDPR and information security requirements.
- Experience supporting audits or maintaining compliance documentation.
