Operations Coordinator
Location: Killingworth, Tyne & Wear
TEXO Recruitment is currently looking for an Operations Coordinator for one of our clients in Killingworth, Tyne & Wear.
This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to play a key role in supporting the planning and coordination of day-to-day engineering operations. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple departments to ensure engineering activities are effectively scheduled, monitored, and delivered efficiently.
This role is essential in maintaining smooth operational performance while supporting continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and track day-to-day engineering activities to ensure projects run efficiently.
- Coordinate vehicle fleet maintenance and servicing schedules.
- Monitor planned engineering work, identify potential issues, and support corrective actions where required.
- Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, maintenance, procurement, and HSE teams to maintain operational efficiency.
- Coordinate deliveries and collections in line with project and operational requirements.
- Administer and maintain the company's digital asset management system.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors regarding engineering activities and schedules.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
- Provide general operational and administrative support as required.

Requirements
- Previous administration experience within an engineering or technical environment.
- Experience in planning, scheduling, or coordinating operational activities.
- Highly organised with excellent planning skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across multiple teams and departments.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards within industrial environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
