Operations Coordinator | £35k to £43k + bonus | London
We're looking for someone to become the operational heartbeat of Unknown.
We're a small, ambitious recruitment and growth consultancy, and as we've grown, so have all the things that need to happen behind the scenes to keep the business running brilliantly. That's where this role comes in!
You'll take ownership of the day-to-day operations of Unknown, giving our recruiters more time to recruit and our leadership team more headspace to lead, while continually looking for smarter ways for us to work.
Responsibilities
It's a really varied role. You'll:
- Own our client invoicing, office operations, and suppliers
- Become the go-to person for our systems and operational questions
- Support hiring and our wider people experience
- Get involved in projects that help make Unknown better
Requirements
We're particularly interested in someone who is systems-minded and excited about technology and AI. Seven20, our CRM, is built on Salesforce, so Salesforce experience would be a big plus. More importantly, we want someone whose instinct is to ask whether technology, automation, or a better process could solve something before creating more manual work.

You'll probably have a few years' experience in operations, business support, office management, people operations, or another broad role where you've had to take real ownership. We're looking for someone who's proactive, organised, accountable, and comfortable figuring things out. Someone who gets genuine satisfaction from being the person who keeps everything moving and makes everyone else's working day a little easier.
You also need to enjoy both sides of an operations role. One day you might be improving a system or taking ownership of a new project. The next you might be sorting an invoice, organising a team social, or chasing someone for something you needed yesterday. Both matter.

There's also a 20% bonus opportunity on top of your base salary.
We're a hybrid team and spend three days a week together in our London office. Being visible and part of the team is particularly important in this role, so we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being around people and wants to be part of office life.
Salary: £35,000 to £43,000 + 20% bonus
