About The Role

Working under our Operations Manager and alongside our Golf Travel Experts, this role ensures that every aspect is in place in advance of our client’s arrival. You will oversee client files prepared by our Golf Travel Experts in both an administrative and operational sense.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client communication - Respond to client enquiries promptly and professionally, providing a consistently high level of service, providing support and assistance as required in advance of and during a client’s trip
  • Booking administration - Assist with making and managing accommodation, transport, golf, activities and other travel arrangements. Check reservations, dates, passenger details, rates and inclusions carefully to ensure all arrangements are correct.
  • Supplier liaison - Communicate with hotels, golf courses, transport providers and other suppliers to confirm arrangements and resolve queries.
  • Payments & deadlines - Monitor deposits, final balances and supplier payment deadlines, ensuring these are actioned on time.
  • Travel documents - Prepare and issue client documentation in a timely and professional manner, ensuring all information is accurate, complete and thoroughly checked before being sent. Maintain a high level of attention to detail, keeping client records up to date and ensuring any changes or amendments are communicated and actioned promptly.
  • Problem solving - Deal proactively with booking changes, cancellations and other issues, keeping both clients and colleagues informed.
  • Pre-travel checks - Review bookings ahead of departure to ensure all elements are confirmed and documentation has been issued.
  • General administration - Support the day-to-day running of the office and undertake additional administrative duties as required.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Experience working in office administration and following procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook in particular).
  • An advanced level of customer service. A calm and calculated problem-solving mentality when unforeseen circumstances arise.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An ability to work independently, and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of golf, although desirable is not required.

Employment Details

  • Competitive salary offer - D.O.E.
  • 28 days holiday entitlement, inclusive of UK public holidays (i.e. 20 days holiday plus 8 days in lieu of UK public holidays).
  • Working with a close-knit and highly committed team; the PerryGolf team and our hotel, golf and transport partners.
