Advanced Operations Coordinator – Moray West Offshore Wind Farm
A Snapshot of Your Day
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is looking for an Advanced Operations Coordinator to join our Service Operations Team at Moray West offshore wind farm.
Working on a 7 day on/7 day off shift pattern, the coordinator will plan, coordinate and support field personnel in conducting the safe and profitable servicing and maintenance of wind turbine equipment. This will be done in line with planned maintenance requirements, including planning parts and consumables for our offshore wind farm, working from our operations and maintenance facility in Buckie.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform technical verification in Spiridion SAP, ensuring accurate time recording and parts consumption to enable billing processes and parts replenishment.
- Full end-to-end SAP Notification and Service Order management.
- Meticulous administration of SGRE wind farm sites including technical and commercial record-keeping and clear separation of costs between service and warranty activities in line with the customer contract.
- Raise, schedule and allocate planned and unplanned maintenance activities using the Spiridion SAP system, collaborating closely with SGRE field teams and customer representatives.
- Maintain efficient timescales for planned maintenance activities and create daily and weekly plans for site team as required, optimizing the deployment of Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs).
- Ensure maintenance and troubleshooting activities are aligned to business objectives and customer requirements.
- Co-ordinate the preparation/provision of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) related documentation and ensure all work is carried out in line with UK legislation.
- Maintain comprehensive record-keeping and documentation archives to support a complete service and maintenance history.

What You Bring
- Strong ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for your own workload.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to adapt quickly to the changing requirements.
- Work shifts at the project location, including weekends (no night work). Living within a commutable distance of Buckie is essential.
- Knowledge about health and safety legislation.
- Strong IT literacy, especially with Microsoft (MS) Office Applications and SAP.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
- Previous experience of working in the wind industry would be advantageous although full training will be provided.
- Enthusiasm for a role that offers variety, learning opportunities, and a supportive team culture.
- A flexible mindset, including a willingness to travel when required.
