Event Operations Coordinator
We are working with one of the leading educational tour operators. They are an ambitious business with many award-winning brands and are now looking for someone to join their team that specialises in creating inspiring sporting and study events for students.
Event Operations Coordinator – what will I be doing?
You will collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver exceptional events and ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities include:
- Planning logistics
- Booking venues
- Arranging accommodations and transport
- Managing on-site event execution

Event Operations Coordinator – What experience do I need?
You will need:
- Proven customer service experience
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Commercial and financial awareness
- Proficiency in Excel
- Adaptable and flexible
Knowledge of the school travel market would be a real advantage. Experience in group tour operations would be desirable. Understanding of sporting events. French language skills – not essential.

- This is an office-based role in the Sutton, Surrey area.
- Monday to Friday with occasional work outside these areas for events.
- You will be required to attend some of the events throughout the year.
- The core hours are Monday to Friday 9–5.
- There is 25 days annual leave, with the option for unpaid leave.
- Flexible working hours around term time considered.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about event coordination and committed to excellent customer experiences.
