Operations Coordinator

IMMEDIATE START AND INTERVIEWS

Salary: £35k-£42k

Based in: Woking, Surrey

This is an office-based role: Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm

Parking available

Our client is based in Woking recruiting for an experienced Operations Coordinator.

This is a role that turns a client instruction into a scheduled, priced, completed and invoiced job. If you've coordinated engineers in a trades or maintenance business and want more ownership than a pure scheduling role gives you, this is a step up.

Key Duties:

  • Building and optimising the diaries for our engineering teams across multiple trades, balancing geography, skills and job duration to keep the day running efficiently
  • Managing a remote bookings team, setting daily priorities and keeping client response times on track
  • Building quotations from engineer reports and site findings, sourcing materials pricing from suppliers, and following quotes through to approval
  • Acting as the day-to-day contact for our letting agent clients — updates, access issues, escalations
  • Allocating labour time to jobs so costing stays accurate, and raising invoices on completion
  • Working with QS on measured works and variations
  • Handling the live disruption: overruns, no-access, emergencies and sickness

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
