Operations Cost Control Support
We're looking to add a Operations Cost Control Support to our team here at Frontline Security Solutions. Based out of our Chalfont St Peter office, this role provides analytical, administrative, and operational assistance to the Operations Cost Control Lead.
The ideal candidate will have experience in finance support and job costing, whilst possessing a high level of attention to detail.

- SALARY: Up to £35,500.00 DoE
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays

What You’ll be Doing as a Operations Cost Control Support
- Collect and validate cost data including engineer timesheets, materials, subcontractor invoices, equipment hire, and travel expenses.
- Assist with updating job budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete values.
- Ensuring all invoices are produced correctly, in time and to the customer requirements to ensure swift payment
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support implementation of operational efficiencies.
- Assist with tracking profitability of service contracts, warranty work, maintenance agreements, and installation projects.
- Work closely with Service Managers, Program Managers, Project Managers, Procurement, and Commercial teams to provide financial guidance.
- Ensure teams follow cost-control procedures (job costing, material booking, procurement compliance)
- Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports for review with the Cost Control Lead.
- Support financial tracking of installation projects and service engagements from initiation to completion.

What We Would Like You To Bring:
- Proven experience in operations support, cost administration, finance support, or data analysis.
- Experience within installation, engineering, service delivery, construction, or electronic security environments is beneficial.
- Familiarity with ERP/job-costing or field service management platforms, portals, etc.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Proficient in Excel/Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cost inputs and deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with ability to spot errors or trends in data.
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with operations, finance, and field teams.
- Comfortable learning technical systems and understanding installation/service workflows.
- Intermediate level MS Excel skills and computer literate with experience of MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
