Operations Customer Agent – Domestic and Electrical
Hours: 37.5 paid hours per week, scheduled between 08:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday
Reports to: Customer Operations SME Domestic and Electrical
Location: Office-based with hybrid working
Salary: £25,420 to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

Join Ecovision as a Customer Agent and play a key role in supporting our customers and residents throughout their journey with us. You will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, resolving system issues, coordinating engineer visits, and ensuring every customer receives a professional, efficient, and positive experience.

What you'll do
- Triage basic faults relating to non-communication between smart meters and the Ecovision monitoring platform.
- Make outbound calls via our Dialler to customers with system faults where we have been unable to establish contact by email or text.
- Handle inbound customer calls relating to faults, upgrades, emails, text messages, and customer communications.
- Contact customers where remote smart meter readings are unavailable and request manual readings or photographs of meters.
- Schedule appointments for field engineers efficiently and effectively, ensuring allocation aligns with engineer skills, certifications, and geographical location using Salesforce CRM.
- Provide clear, timely, and professional communication and updates to customers.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, actions taken, and resolutions within Salesforce and other internal systems.
- Support administrative activities relating to customer care and asset management.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for process and service improvements.
- Escalate issues appropriately and work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns.

What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer service or customer-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- A professional, friendly, and empathetic approach to customer interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using CRM or ticketing systems. Salesforce experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Experience within the energy, utilities, or renewable energy sector is desirable but not essential.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
