Gleeson is partnering with a high-growth organisation that is transforming the way businesses optimise their network infrastructure across the UK, with ambitious expansion plans ahead.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Network Planning Lead to play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and business transformation. This position sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, combining strategic consultancy, operational design, data-driven analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery to ensure key initiatives are successfully planned and implemented across the organisation.

Working Pattern: 1 Day in office per week. National
Package: £65,000
The Role
This role bridges strategic objectives and operational delivery across the business. Reporting to senior leadership, it ensures priorities, client projects, and improvement initiatives are aligned and executed effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
The successful candidate will lead planning, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery, using strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making to enhance operational performance, customer satisfaction, and business growth across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain operational planning frameworks aligned to strategic objectives.
- Translate business strategy into actionable plans, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
- Establish governance, reporting, and performance tracking mechanisms.
- Lead business transformation and change initiatives across multiple functions.
- Manage projects to ensure successful delivery against objectives, timelines, and benefits.
- Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and barriers to implementation.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to drive alignment, collaboration, and decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor on operational effectiveness, transformation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop communication and engagement strategies to support organisational change.
- Review, design, and optimise processes, operating models, and ways of working.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and customer outcomes through data-driven insights.
- Promote best practice methodologies and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and drive achievement of key business priorities, milestones, and operational KPIs.
- Ensure high levels of stakeholder engagement, process adoption, and delivery excellence.

The Ideal Candidate
- 3 + years leading business transformation, operational improvement or strategic change initiatives.
- Experience working within a large multi-site operation.
- Proven track record of delivering organisational change programmes and support/ leading national projects.
- Experience developing governance, planning and reporting frameworks.
- Customer-facing experience with a strong commercial mindset and business development awareness.
