Yorkshire Food Guide (YFG) is a multimedia company, showcasing the best restaurants, events, exclusive offers and food and drink news from across the region - yorkshirefoodguide.co.uk.
YFG has the largest targeted audience of food and drink lovers in the region, 450K+ across the website, social media, app and e-newsletter database. Working with prestigious clients across Yorkshire to showcase top dining destinations and events.

We’re looking for a highly organised, digitally confident Digital & Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of YFG across operations, customer service, website management, CRM, events and social media. This is a varied role requiring someone who can confidently manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate data and deliver a high level of customer service.
You’ll work across a range of digital platforms and systems, while embracing AI and new technology to improve efficiency and ways of working. We’re looking for someone who is curious about emerging technology and keen to continually explore better ways of working, while maintaining accuracy, quality and the human touch.
Role description
A varied role supporting the day-to-day operations and digital presence of YFG.
- Responsible for keeping company, customer and website information accurate and up to date.
- Managing customer and sales enquiries and ensuring they reach the right team member.
- Supporting YFG’s festivals, events, digital platforms and commercial activity.
- Working across CRM, finance, website, Google and social media platforms.
- Acting as an important first point of contact for customers, partners and members of the YFG audience.

The person
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Digitally savvy and comfortable learning and using different platforms and systems.
- Open to adopting new AI tools and technologies as they develop, with an understanding of when AI can add value and when a human approach is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Friendly, professional and confident when communicating with customers and clients.
- Proactive and able to work independently, while knowing when to escalate an issue.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change.
- Has an interest in Yorkshire’s food, drink, hospitality and events scene.
- A willingness to embrace new AI technologies and identify opportunities to use them to streamline processes, improve content and increase efficiency.
Day-to-day tasks
- Creating and distributing contracts for electronic signature.
- Keeping records up to date in HubSpot CRM.
- Using Xero accounting software to reconcile voucher sales.
- Monitoring the company’s central mailbox and distributing news, sales and customer enquiries to the relevant YFG team member.
- Responding to customer queries via website live chat and email.
- Carrying out regular website and email database data cleansing.
- Managing and maintaining Google Merchant Centre.
- Managing and keeping YFG’s Google Business profiles up to date.
- Managing chef demo bookings for YFG-promoted food festivals.
- Adding press releases, news stories and other editorial content to the website.
- Adding and maintaining website content, including restaurant profiles, event listings and product pages.
- Creating and maintaining event and restaurant profile pages.
- Responding to social media DMs and audience queries in a timely and professional manner.

Experience required
- Previous experience in an administrative, operations, digital, customer service, bookkeeping and/or coordination role.
- Use of CRM systems; HubSpot experience would be advantageous.
- Experience managing website content, ideally using WordPress or a similar CMS.
- Use of Google Business Profile and/or Google Merchant Centre would be advantageous.
- Experience using Xero or other accounting software.
- Experience dealing directly with customers, clients or members of the public.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot or similar platforms, with the ability to use AI effectively and responsibly as part of day-to-day work.
Location
- Leeds city centre office
- 4 days in office, one day working from home - following a successful probation period
