Operations Director
Location: North London (Office-Based)
Salary: From £65,000 - £70,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced operational leader who thrives on building high-performing teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional customer experiences?
I am recruiting for an Operations Director to join an award-winning digital technology business that delivers innovative digital signage solutions to some of the UK's best-known hospitality and catering brands.
This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of the senior leadership team, playing a pivotal role in shaping operational strategy while helping a growing business continue its impressive success.
Operations Director Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll take ownership of the company's operational delivery function, ensuring projects, customer services and operational teams consistently deliver outstanding results.
You'll oversee multiple departments, have a team of 4 direct reports, ensuring people, processes and technology work seamlessly together while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction and business growth.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll inspire teams, develop managers and continuously improve the way the business operates.

As Operations Director, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership across all operational departments.
- Lead, mentor and develop managers to build engaged, high-performing teams.
- Drive operational performance through clear KPIs, reporting and accountability.
- Ensure customers receive an exceptional level of service throughout their journey.
- Oversee Content Deployment, ensuring work is effectively prioritised, resourced and delivered.
- Manage Design, ensuring creative output is delivered accurately and on time.
- Coordinate content projects from planning through to successful completion.
- Oversee hardware installation projects, including procurement, scheduling, logistics and delivery.
- Support Product Management, helping ensure hardware and software solutions continue meeting customer and operational needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, systems and efficiencies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance and the wider leadership team to support continued business growth.
- Contribute to strategic planning and business decision-making as part of the senior leadership team.
Operations Director Essential Experience:
- Proven experience leading operational teams within a service-led, technology or project delivery environment.
- Experience managing managers and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to oversee multiple operational functions.
- A track record of implementing operational improvements that deliver measurable business results.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience creating KPIs, reporting frameworks and governance structures.
- The ability to make confident decisions in a fast-paced, growing business.
- A proactive, collaborative leadership style with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement.
