Operations Director – Multi-Site Operations

Scotland & Northern Ireland | c. £90,000 + Bonus + Car/Car Allowance

We're working exclusively on an Operations Director appointment with a large, established UK & Ireland business undergoing continued growth and operational development.

This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for two significant operational sites across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The business is looking for an accomplished operational leader who can bring a fresh perspective, challenge established ways of working and identify opportunities to improve capacity, productivity, efficiency and overall site performance.

A major focus of the role will be understanding how the operations currently function and developing practical solutions around areas such as site flow, resource utilisation, operational processes, asset performance and continuous improvement.

  • Senior leadership of sizeable operational teams
  • Multi-site or regional operational responsibility
  • A track record of operational transformation and continuous improvement
  • Improving productivity, capacity, efficiency or profitability
  • Strong HSE and regulatory/compliance awareness
  • P&L and commercial accountability
  • Leadership through change, including developing management teams
  • The confidence to challenge existing processes and implement better ways of working
  • An autonomous, solutions-focused approach backed by data and sound commercial judgement

The position will involve regular travel between Scotland and Northern Ireland, particularly during the initial period while building relationships with the teams and understanding both operations.
