About the Role

As Operations Director, you will join Craven Street Wealth’s Executive Management Team and lead the continued evolution of our operations as we grow. Responsible for client service, paraplanning, and operational delivery, you will help shape and implement a scalable operating model that supports:

  • Exceptional client outcomes
  • Operational efficiency
  • Robust governance

Working closely with the Managing Director, Compliance Director, and wider Executive Management Team, you will ensure the business is well-positioned for:

Your Top Three Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the operational, client service, and paraplanning functions to deliver outstanding outcomes for both colleagues and clients.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve our Target Operating Model, ensuring:
    • An efficient and scalable business
    • High performance across functions
  • Ensure strong governance, regulatory alignment, and operational controls in line with:
    • FCA expectations
    • Consumer Duty requirements

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced operational leader from an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA), financial planning, or wealth management background, with:

  • Strong leadership, operational, and regulatory experience
  • A Level 4 Diploma (relevant to finance/operations)
  • Proven experience leading operations across both client service and paraplanning teams
  • Commercial awareness balancing:
    • Client experience
    • Operational efficiency
    • Business performance

Key Skills & Experience

  • Understanding of operational strategy, governance, and business improvement
  • Experience developing scalable operational models to support growth
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Experience leading:
    • Operational change
    • Technology implementation
    • Process improvement initiatives
