Operations Director – Facilities Management
Location: UK-wide

Contract: Permanent
We are supporting an established and growing facilities management business with the appointment of an experienced Operations Director.
This senior leadership role will take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of public and private-sector contracts. You will lead operational delivery, strengthen client relationships and drive sustainable commercial performance across the division.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the operational performance of a complex, multi-site FM portfolio
- Ensure contracts consistently meet their operational, financial and compliance objectives
- Build strong relationships with clients, partners and senior stakeholders
- Lead, develop and motivate regional and contract-level management teams
- Drive improvements in service quality, productivity and customer satisfaction
- Support contract mobilisation, retention and organic growth
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, compliance and governance
- Manage budgets, forecasts and overall P&L performance
- Work closely with the executive team to support the wider business strategy

- Senior operational leadership experience within the FM sector
- Experience managing complex public and private-sector contracts
- Responsibility for a significant multi-site portfolio or business unit
- Strong commercial, financial and P&L management capability
- A track record of improving operational and customer performance
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience leading and developing senior operational teams
- A visible, collaborative and accountable leadership style
