Operations Director – PFI & Public Sector
We’re supporting a leading facilities and infrastructure services organisation with the appointment of an Operations Director to lead a significant portfolio of complex public sector contracts.
This is a senior operational leadership role with responsibility for the performance, development and strategic direction of a multi-site portfolio, with a particular focus on PFI and long-term public sector partnerships.
We’re looking to speak with established operational leaders who have a strong understanding of the complexities of delivering services within PFI environments and can combine operational rigour with strong commercial and client leadership.

The role will include:
- Leadership of a significant portfolio of PFI and public sector contracts
- Full operational and commercial accountability
- Developing senior relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders
- Driving contract performance, service improvement and operational consistency
- Leading and developing senior operational teams
- Identifying opportunities for growth and value creation across the portfolio
- Managing complex contractual, commercial and stakeholder environments
About you
You’ll already be operating in a senior leadership position within Facilities Management, Infrastructure or a related outsourced services environment, with demonstrable experience across PFI and the public sector.

Experience within sectors such as Government, Defence, Justice, Healthcare or Education would be particularly relevant.
You’ll need to be commercially astute, comfortable operating at senior client level and capable of leading large, complex operations through both day-to-day delivery and longer-term transformation.
