Operations Director
Location: London Head Office with regular travel across the UK
This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished Operations Director to join a successful, multi-site hospitality business at an exciting stage of its journey.
Reporting directly to the CEO and forming part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead restaurant operations across a national estate, taking responsibility for commercial performance, operational excellence, and the development of high-performing operational teams.
This is a role for a visible, hands-on leader. You'll be equally comfortable spending time in restaurants coaching Regional Operations Managers and supporting teams as you are reviewing business performance with the Executive Team. You'll understand that exceptional guest experiences, engaged people, and strong commercial results are intrinsically linked, and you'll have the leadership capability to deliver all three.
With responsibility for leading a team of Regional Operations Managers, you will drive consistent operational standards, improve performance across the estate, and ensure every restaurant is operating safely, efficiently, and profitably. Working closely with colleagues across Finance, People, Marketing, Property, Supply Chain, and Technology, you'll help translate business objectives into operational delivery, supporting continued growth and continuous improvement across the organisation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
