Full job description
Our client is an established property investment and development business with a growing portfolio of commercial assets across the UK. With expertise spanning acquisition, development, asset management, and leasing, the business has built a reputation for creating modern, high-quality environments that deliver long-term value for occupiers, investors, and local communities. As part of an exciting new venture, the organisation is launching a dedicated Building Services business, bringing key operational services in-house with a focus on delivering a premium, hospitality-led experience across its portfolio.
The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to join a business at the beginning of an exciting growth journey and play a pivotal role in shaping a new service-led operation. Reporting directly to senior stakeholders, you will take responsibility for the delivery of security manned guarding and front of house services across an existing portfolio of commercial properties while helping establish and grow a premium Building Services business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, supporting commercial growth, and developing a service offering that combines professionalism, hospitality, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational delivery across a multi-site commercial property portfolio.
- Manage and support site supervisors and operational teams.
- Ensure exceptional standards across front-of-house, concierge, security, and building services operations.
- Mobilise new sites and support operational start-ups.
- Develop operational procedures, policies, and service standards.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and operational expenditure.
- Support the preparation of tenders, proposals, and client presentations.
- Attend pitches and contribute to securing new business opportunities.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and best practices.
- Drive a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- Proven leadership experience within Facilities Management, Security, Building Services, Property Services, Hospitality, or a related sector.
- Experience managing multi-site operations.
- Strong experience overseeing outsourced or third-party service contracts.
- Demonstrable experience preparing and managing operational budgets.
- Experience supporting tenders, proposals, and commercial presentations.
- Strong commercial awareness and business development capability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead teams within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Desirable Experience
- Background within luxury hospitality, concierge, premium front-of-house, or high-end commercial environments.
- Experience mobilising contracts or launching new operational services.
- Experience building teams within growing businesses.
- Knowledge of TUPE processes and workforce transitions.
- Experience within corporate security, man guarding, or front-of-house security operations.
- Valid SIA Front Line Licence or previous SIA licensing history.
