Job Titles: Operations Director

Company Type: Design & Build Workplace Fit Out

Board-Level Leadership

The Shore Group has been retained on behalf of a leading workplace Design and Build company to appoint an Operations Director. Having established as one of the UK's most respected workplace delivery specialists, the business has earned a strong reputation for delivering complex CAT A and CAT B projects for both occupier and landlord clients. Following continued growth and investment, an opportunity has arisen for an Operations Director to join the Board.

You will be responsible for the overall delivery strategy, operational performance and profitability of a significant project portfolio. Leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple concurrent projects, you will drive operational excellence, ensure outstanding client outcomes and play a central role in delivering the company's ambitious growth objectives.

With an ambitious growth strategy and a highly experienced leadership team already in place, the company is now seeking to appoint a commercially astute and operationally driven Operations Director to join the Board and play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of its growth.

The Opportunity

This is a genuine Board-level leadership position for an individual who has already progressed beyond managing individual projects and is now responsible for the operational performance, delivery standards, profitability and strategic direction of a business, or sizable division. We are interested in individuals currently operating within leading workplace, commercial fit out and Design & Build organisations where project values typically range from £5 million to £30 million + and where the successful delivery of complex landlord and occupier projects is central to the business model.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
