MUFG, a global leader in financial services, is seeking an Operations Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence Delivery Specialist to join their newly established EMEA Operations DX/AI & Transformation Office in London. This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to shape the future of operational excellence by leveraging cutting-edge digitalisation tools, automation, and artificial intelligence solutions. You will be at the heart of transformation initiatives, collaborating with diverse teams across the business to deliver practical, scalable solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety. What you'll do:
- Identify and review existing business processes within Operations to articulate problem statements clearly, analyse requirements thoroughly, and recommend appropriate digital solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ design diagrams as well as process flow charts; summarise findings at management level to build compelling business cases for change.
- Rapidly create prototypes and develop practical solutions across multiple platforms including Tungsten Automation (KTA/RPA), Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Actively promote GenAI solutions like Copilot within the business to drive adoption and support the integration of AI agents into operational workflows.
- Support programme communications by preparing high-quality updates for key committees and ensuring clear messaging throughout transformation initiatives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI and digitalisation; conduct horizon scanning to keep MUFG at the forefront of operational innovation.
- Establish strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, vendors, and consultants; work closely with business teams to understand needs, test ideas, refine prototypes, and leverage expertise for project success.
- Advocate for change and transformation within Operations by supporting strategies that provide timely, accurate services aligned with organisational goals.
- Document high-level concepts in PowerPoint presentations tailored for non-technical stakeholders; adapt messaging for senior leaders and business audiences.
- Ensure compliance with governance, risk management, and control frameworks relevant to both change initiatives and broader organisational standards.

What you bring:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform—including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI—with proven ability to build, test, deploy, and support business solutions for operations.
- Experience with process automation platforms such as Tungsten Automation (KTA/RPA) or PEGA is highly desirable for delivering scalable automation projects.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks including scripting and automation within operational environments.
- Strong skills in creating dashboards and management reports using Power BI; familiarity with data visualisation best practices is essential.
- Ability to document high-level concepts effectively in PowerPoint presentations tailored for non-technical stakeholders.
- Good understanding of corporate & investment banking operating models from front-to-back office perspectives; awareness of challenges facing financial organisations is beneficial.
- Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles alongside project delivery methodologies relevant to transformation initiatives.
- Excellent planning skills combined with prioritisation abilities to manage large workloads efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Outstanding communication skills—both verbal and written—with capacity to explain complex technical concepts clearly for senior stakeholders or business audiences.
- Sound stakeholder management capabilities enabling effective collaboration at all levels; proven ability to present ideas constructively while maintaining positive relationships.
