About the role
DEBUTE is looking for a highly organised, hands-on Operations & E-commerce Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of our e-commerce, wholesale, customer and operational activities.
This is a varied role in a growing fashion business, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, works quickly and accurately, and is happy getting stuck into whatever the business needs. The scope of the role will naturally evolve as DEBUTE grows, and there is plenty of opportunity for the right person to take on more responsibility and develop within the business.
You'll work across e-commerce, wholesale, customer service, stock and reporting, collaborating closely with the wider team and our external partners.
Key responsibilities
E-commerce & Data
- Manage product and pricing uploads and updates across Shopify.
- Maintain accurate product data, imagery, descriptions, pricing, inventory and merchandising.
- Support collection launches, promotions and website updates.
- Ensure the website is consistently accurate and up to date.
- Support e-commerce operations and troubleshoot day-to-day issues.
Customer Service & Community
- Manage customer enquiries across email and social channels, providing thoughtful, efficient and on-brand service.
- Take a commercially minded approach to customer service, helping to translate enquiries into sales wherever possible.
- Manage customer returns and exchanges from request through to resolution.
- Monitor and manage the hello@debute.co.uk inbox.
- Coordinate collaboration and partnership enquiries from stylists, models, press, creators and brand partners, working closely with the Head of Marketing.

Stock & Product Coordination
- Coordinate stock movements and transfers across internal and external partners.
- Manage stock transfers relating to PR, resale and rental accounts, influencer/celebrity/press gifting and sample loans.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movements and ensure products are returned and reconciled where required.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure stock availability and allocation are accurately reflected across channels.
Wholesale Operations
- Manage the day-to-day administration and fulfilment of wholesale orders, from order confirmation through to delivery.
- Provide operational support to wholesale accounts, ensuring orders, product information, stock availability and delivery requirements are managed accurately and efficiently.
- Work closely with our wholesale agency to ensure smooth communication and execution across accounts.
- Maintain accurate wholesale order, customer and sales data.
- Coordinate internally to resolve order, stock, delivery and account queries quickly.
- Support wholesale reporting and ongoing account management.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular sales and performance reporting across e-commerce and wholesale.
- Analyse sales and product performance to identify trends and useful commercial insights.
- Maintain accurate operational data and support the team with ad hoc analysis.
General Operations
- Coordinate across marketing, wholesale, logistics and other partners to ensure seamless customer, e-commerce and wholesale operations.
- Identify issues early and help find practical solutions.
- Support ad hoc projects and wider business priorities as required.
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
- Extremely hands-on and genuinely happy working in a fast-moving, growing business.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats and switching between priorities.
- Quick, proactive and eager to learn.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical and comfortable working with data and spreadsheets.
- Calm and solutions-focused when things don't go to plan.
- Commercially minded and interested in understanding what drives sales.
- A strong communicator who is comfortable dealing with customers, wholesale accounts and external partners.
- Able to work independently while knowing when to escalate an issue.
- Interested in fashion and excited by the opportunity to grow with an emerging brand.

Essential
- Strong working knowledge of Shopify and confidence managing e-commerce product data is essential. As accuracy in this area is fundamental to the role, there will be a practical Shopify/data task as part of the interview process.
- Experience with wholesale order management and supporting wholesale accounts is also highly desirable given how central wholesale operations are to this position.
