The Role
The Market Data team collect, store, and distribute real-time financial data from over 250 exchanges globally. As part of our ongoing platform transformation, we are migrating services and operational capabilities toward a cloud-based environment.
We are looking for a Operations Engineer to join us on a 12 month fixed-term contract. You will monitor and support the Market Data application stack and infrastructure, working closely with teams in London and Mumbai, as well as development partners and third-party vendors, to investigate and resolve operational issues. You will help ensure strong monitoring coverage and operational visibility, deploy software changes, and contribute to infrastructure and cloud migration initiatives.
Within the first 3-6 months, you are expected to operate independently within the support rota, confidently deploy changes, deliver meaningful monitoring improvements, and act as a trusted operational partner to development teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
