Operations Executive
Brimstone Head Office, Kent
We are seeking an organised and motivated Operations Executive to join our team at Brimstone UXO. In this role, you will provide key operational and administrative support to the business, working closely with the Operations Coordinator and our engineers to ensure projects are effectively resourced, coordinated and supported. You will be involved in assigning engineers to projects, managing project information and records, coordinating logistics and travel, supporting subcontractor administration, and assisting with the continued development of our internal operations management systems.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload while prioritising tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential for success in this role. As an entry-level position, we are particularly interested in individuals who are keen to learn, develop new skills and contribute positively to a busy operational team.
This is a full-time, office-based role at our Head Office in Chatham.
Role & Responsibilities
- Liaise with our engineers and assign them onto projects, keeping our manning calendar up to date.
- Issue required project information to engineers.
- Assign resources to projects/engineers and assist with the logistics.
- Close out projects, ensuring and monitoring completion of relevant work records, and chasing the close-out records should they be missing.
- Assist with developing our internal operations management system.
- Support the Operations Coordinator with maintenance of assets and consumables.
- Help organise and book company travel and hotel bookings when required.
- Process the applications of new subcontractors at the initial stage.
- Maintain and update the database of subcontractors, tracking training and competency records.
- Assist in ‘special projects’ as required by Senior Management.
- Report to the Operations Coordinator to assist on other tasks as required.
- Provide administrative support to the business as a whole.

Qualifications & Experience
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to use Microsoft products effectively.
- Ability to communicate via email and the phone effectively.
- Ability to manage workloads and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to acquire new skills and apply them to their role.
- Ability to work effectively on their own and as part of a team.
- This is an entry-level role: no prior experience or specific qualifications are required, and each candidate will be judged on their own merit.
- A-levels or equivalent preferred, but not essential.
