Operations Executive
Surbiton — Hybrid | 2 Days Office, 3 Days Home
Up to £35,000 DOE + 15% Performance Bonus
Operations Executive job in Surbiton within the luxury travel industry, offering up to £35,000 DOE. This is an administration / operations role covering bookings, supplier liaison, documentation and client communications within a growing, award-winning business.

Our Client
Our client is a specialist luxury travel business, creating tailor-made journeys. Recognised within the industry and the recipient of multiple awards, they are known for their expertise and for delivering exceptional, personalised experiences for their clients.
They are now seeking an Operations Executive to support their Operations team, ensuring every booking is processed accurately, every detail is checked meticulously, and every client enjoys a seamless journey from confirmation to travel.
The Role
In this role, you will take full ownership of each booking from confirmation through to the client's travel date, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the Operations department.
- Take ownership of each new booking from confirmation through to travel
- Process client bookings accurately within required timeframes
- Confirm services — lodges, flights, transfers, and activities — with suppliers
- Manage amendments, date changes, and cancellations efficiently
- Track and action supplier invoices and client payments
- Prepare and quality-check client documentation using set templates
- Communicate operational updates to clients in a timely, professional manner
- Liaise with ground handlers, lodges, and flight providers to resolve queries
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams
- Complete booking file checks to maintain consistency and high standards
- Support system and process improvement projects within Operations

Experience Required
- At least 2 years' experience in an administrative or customer-focused role
- Travel industry experience is ESSENTIAL
- Proven ability to meet KPIs relating to accuracy, work rate, and speed of response
- A natural organiser, able to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong numeracy and written English
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with internal teams and suppliers
- Resilient and calm under pressure, able to stay motivated during busy periods
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks
- Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
