Operations Executive - Systems & Projects

Full Time | Permanent
Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum + annual company bonus
Working: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week (Office Based)
Location: Winnersh Triangle, Berkshire - RG41 5TP
We're looking for an Operations Executive to join our Retail Active Operations Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong administration skills with excellent IT and systems capability.
You'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our mystery shopping and customer experience programmes by building projects within our Shop Metrics platform, coordinating field activity and working closely with Account Managers to ensure every project is delivered accurately and on time.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. Around half of your time will be focused on systems and technical project builds, with the remainder supporting operational delivery and coordinating our mystery shoppers.
What you'll be doing
- Build, configure and maintain projects within our Shop Metrics platform following detailed client specifications
- Act as the first point of contact for Account Managers and the Operations team, providing day-to-day support
- Coordinate and book mystery shoppers across multiple client projects
- Manage operational workflows, project briefs and field communications
- Troubleshoot system and project issues, identifying solutions and escalating where appropriate
- Produce project reports and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with Account Managers to understand project requirements, asking the right questions to ensure projects are built correctly from the outset
- Support the smooth delivery of multiple concurrent projects whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with technology and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience working with business systems, databases or workflow platforms (experience of Shop Metrics, Monday.com or similar platforms would be advantageous)
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft 365, particularly Excel
- Confidence working with data, importing information and maintaining accuracy
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive mindset and confidence to ask questions and challenge requirements where necessary
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot system issues
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical colleagues
- A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn new systems
