Blue Crystal Literary Magazine is a global platform dedicated to celebrating the power of storytelling, poetry, prose, and visual art. Since its founding on September 22, 2022, the magazine has published work from more than 700 authors across over 60 nations, reflecting a rich diversity of voices and perspectives. It serves as a creative sanctuary for emerging and established writers, offering space for emotionally resonant and thought-provoking work. Beyond regular issues, Blue Crystal engages its community through anthologies, contests, and collaborative projects that connect creators with readers worldwide. Role Description

The Operations Executive will oversee the day-to-day operational activities that support the smooth running of Blue Crystal Literary Magazine’s editorial, publishing, and community initiatives. This full-time remote role includes:

Qualifications

  • Strong operations and operations management skills to coordinate workflows, manage timelines, and support process improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, authors, artists, and external partners.
  • Solid analytical skills to interpret data, track performance metrics, and inform operational decisions.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in publishing, literary magazines, or creative industries is preferred but not required.
  • Comfort with digital tools and platforms used for project management, communication, and content coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Arts Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in literature, creative writing, or the arts and commitment to inclusive, respectful collaboration.
