Operations Executive – BCorp Food SME London
Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience

One of the top SME businesses in the health foods sector is looking to bolster their Operations and Logistics Team. This is a business that has exploded onto the scene with massive growth plans in grocery retail, a Founder-led team that is second to none, and a culture up there with the best the industry has to offer.
This is a brand that is as disruptive as they come and are doing so for the betterment of society and the food we eat. They have a brilliant team that have fantastic ideas putting the foundations in place with superb brand building, which has created a strong following in their consumers and customer set. Now is the time to add to the Ops team as they continue to gain traction with retail; we need a logistics-focused Ops Exec to help pull all the pieces together!
These guys are serious, the products are the best tasting on the market, and the NPD pipeline is incredible. The time has come for the business to upskill and add firepower to their resources, with this role playing a pivotal part in the Ops Team for years to come!
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Operations Executive to join this fantastic team and help drive their operational excellence as they continue to grow.
You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the company, reporting to the wonderful Senior Operations Manager, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently underpinning growth.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication and project management skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment! The ideal candidate will have experience in operations and/or logistics, a keen understanding of the food or consumer products industry, and a passion for promoting healthy living.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the company, including inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational targets are met.
Supply Chain:
- Raise purchase orders and check on lead times with suppliers/freight partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality raw materials.
- Optimise supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve reliability.
- Update inventory report and circulate company-wide.
- Book deliveries into our warehouses.
- Physical requirements to collect and move stock between locations/offices to events with the team.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all products meet the company’s quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes throughout the production cycle.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Implement methodologies to streamline operations.
- Develop and manage projects aimed at operational enhancements.

Customer Service:
- Manage DTC and trade customer enquiries across 2 inboxes to ensure customer satisfaction and address any operational issues that may arise.
- Analyse customer feedback to inform operational decisions and improvements.
- Help with packing and dispatching orders to customers and retailers.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and legal requirements.
- Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the food or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using operations management software and tools, including Shopify.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Xero, Shopify, Gorgias, warehouse management software.
