Operations Executive — Warehouse, Systems & Product Operations

Location: Erith, DA8 (on-site)

Salary: £28,000-30,000 per annum

Type: Full-time, permanent

Reports to: Warehouse Team Leader

About the Role

liquidation.store is a fast-moving e-commerce business selling excess and liquidation stock through flash sales and mystery boxes. We're looking for an Operations Executive to own warehouse efficiency and our warehouse management system (WMS), while acting as the connective tissue between our warehouse and our sales & marketing team — making sure new products move from goods-in to being live and promotable as quickly and smoothly as possible.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who wants real ownership early in their career. You'll be as comfortable walking the warehouse floor solving a bottleneck as you are updating stock records in the WMS or flagging a new product drop to the marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Efficiency

  • Identify and fix bottlenecks across goods-in, put-away, picking, and goods-out processes
  • Monitor and improve turnaround times from stock arrival to stock being sellable
  • Work with warehouse staff to streamline day-to-day workflows

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Systems (WMS)

  • Own day-to-day management and accuracy of the warehouse management system
  • Ensure stock levels, locations, and statuses are correctly recorded and kept up to date
  • Spot and resolve data discrepancies between the WMS and other systems (e.g. Shopify)
  • Suggest and help implement system improvements or process automations

Goods In / Goods Out

  • Oversee receiving, checking, and logging of incoming liquidation stock
  • Oversee accurate and timely dispatch of outgoing orders
  • Maintain quality control and stock condition standards on intake

Connecting Operations with Sales & Marketing

  • Act as the link between the warehouse and the sales/marketing team for new product arrivals
  • Flag new stock as it lands so marketing can plan content and promotions around it
  • Provide accurate stock counts, condition notes, and timelines to support flash sale and mystery box planning
  • Feed back on what's moving fast/slow to help shape future buying and promotion decisions

About You

We're open to either:

  • 1–3 years' experience in a warehouse, operations, logistics, or similar role, ideally with some exposure to a WMS or stock management system
  • An exceptional graduate — no direct experience needed, but you can show real initiative, strong organisational skills, and comfort with systems/data, plus a willingness to be hands-on in a warehouse environment

You'll likely be a good fit if you:

  • Are naturally organised and enjoy fixing inefficient processes
  • Are comfortable with spreadsheets and learning new systems quickly
  • Can communicate clearly across different teams (warehouse, marketing, sales)
  • Want ownership and responsibility rather than a narrowly defined task list
  • Are happy working on-site in Erith, DA8

What We Offer

  • £28,000-£30,000 salary
  • Direct exposure to all sides of a growing e-commerce operation
  • Real ownership over processes and systems from day one
  • Room to grow as the business scales

To apply, please send your CV and a short note on why this role interests you.
