We’re excited to be partnering again with Podkováň Brewery, which has been brewing traditional Czech lager in the heart of Bohemia for over 600 years.
We’re looking for a bright, adaptable, and commercially curious Business & Operations Coordinator to join the team and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.
This is a varied, hands-on role working closely with the Managing Director and wider team. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning quickly, taking ownership, and understanding how a business works.
The Role:
You’ll play a key part in keeping the business running smoothly, with responsibilities across:
- Managing Director support – diary management, meetings, reports, presentations, and day-to-day coordination.
- Business & office administration – maintaining records, product information, systems, and general commercial administration.
- Import, logistics & supply chain – coordinating shipments, deliveries, and collections; liaising with warehouses, transport providers, breweries, and customs brokers; tracking deliveries and handling relevant documentation.
- Commercial & sales support – preparing quotations and presentations, processing orders, supporting customers, and maintaining our CRM and website.
- Events & trade support – helping coordinate exhibitions, trade shows, beer festivals, and occasional pub activations.
- Finance administration – customer and supplier account reconciliation, invoicing support, and working with external accountants.
- Research & projects – researching suppliers, competitors, products, and markets, improving processes and systems, and supporting new business initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
