Job Description

Job title: Operations Finance Analyst

Location: Romford

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Right to work: Please note that Ethypharm is unable to provide sponsorship for this role. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.

What You Will Do

This role lies at the heart of Ethypharm’s Supply Chain and is a great opportunity for a Finance/Accounting Graduate aspiring to study towards a Finance/Accountancy Qualification or a Part-Qualified Student in a recognised accounting qualification, ACA, ACCA or CIMA.

Your Key Responsibilities Include

  • Responsible for ensuring overheads are accurately reflected and reported in SAP each month.
  • Prepare month end analysis, cost centre reviews, and annual forecasts, balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage the Capex approval process and host the weekly capex committee meeting
  • Ensure that approved projects are set up in SAP correctly
  • Run the weekly Manufacturing variance reports
  • Run the month end PPV, Variance, Utilities, and Waste reports
  • Develop strong business partnering relationships with Finance and non-Finance colleagues
  • Complete data with operations statistics for the Office of National Statistics agency

About You

You will be a finance or accountancy graduate looking to build your career and work towards a recognised qualification, or you may already be part-qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA. You’ll be confident working with numbers, have strong attention to detail and be keen to understand how finance supports day-to-day operations. You’ll also be organised, curious and comfortable working with colleagues across the business.

Basic Skills And Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Previous finance experience (including placements or internships) is desirable
  • Experience of MS Office including MS Excel (Incl. Pivot tables)
